How to Design a Winter Sports Poster Using Shutterstock Create
Since you’ve already downloaded the free clip art bundle, we’re going to make an action-packed poster for you using Shutterstock Create.
Once done, you may download, print, and share it with your friends. We also encourage you to create other variations of this poster using the provided clip art.
Step 1

Go to Shutterstock Create. Under the heading “Start with a blank canvas,” select “Flyer.”
Step 2

Once the blank canvas loads, we’ll upload all the assets in the clip art bundle. For this example, we uploaded all the PNGs and recommend you do the same.
Step 3

From the panel on the left, click “Images,” and right next to it, click on the red button that says “upload” and upload all the PNGs from the clip art bundle.
Step 4
Next, we change the background of the poster.

Using the top panel, click on “Change Color” and then, using the left panel on the Eyedropper tool, add this color code: a2bbb7. This will change the color of your canvas.

Next, using “Shapes” from the left panel, select the square shape. Once it’s on the canvas, resize it so that it covers approximately half the canvas, then change its color to white.
Step 5

From the uploads panel, select mountains and drop it on your canvas. Then, resize it to cover your canvas’s entire width.
Step 6

Select the “line of trees” clip from the uploads panel and place it near the bottom of the mountains. To make it look organic, select the “snow border” clip art and place it near the bottom of the trees.
Make sure that this layer is above the line of the tree layer.
Step 7

We’ll continue to work on the environment. First, though, we’ll add the ice rink to our canvas and place it in the center.
Then, we’ll resize it to cover only part of the canvas.
Step 8

We’ll add the skier to the canvas. Pace him over the ice rink so that he appears to be in the foreground. Then, finally, we’ll resize him a little to adjust the proportions of the overall composition.
Step 9

Next, we’ll add loads of trees. For this example, we’ll resize and duplicate the trees over the canvas so they are well scattered. Adjust your layers accordingly.
Also, add the “snow terrain” clip art and place it near the bottom of the canvas to create a good base.
Step 10
From the panel on the left, select Text > Add heading. Reposition the heading above the mountains towards the upper half of the poster and type “Winter Sale” using the font “BASE 05” and color #ffc81e.

Finally, we’ll tilt the angle a bit to give it a playful look. You can also add the snowfall clip art above all the layers. We’ve duplicated this layer twice to cover the entire area of the poster for this example.
Ready to wrap it up?!

After all is sled and done, click the “Download” button on the top-right. Choose the format you want to download, and your work is complete!
Your Winter Sale poster is ready. Go share it with the world!
