Mother’s Day Gift Guide for that special photographer

You know a mom who is a photographer. However, you’re not sure what to get her for Mother’s Day. Here are five ideas that are sure to bring a smile to her face.

1. Lomography camera

Here’s one fun idea. Check out the LomoApparat Neubau, what Lomo describes as ” the totally experimental, incredibly wide, and super easy to use 35mm film camera.” Yes, it has a 21 mm wide-angle lens. And the real Italian leather design adds a touch of class to the fun. Or look into the Lomo’Instant for instant fun.

2. Weighted Heated Neck Wrap and Shoulder Heating Pad

Just about any photographer who wears a camera around her neck would enjoy this neck and shoulder heading pad. Ahhhhhhh!!!!

3. Photography mug

I usually don’t recommend mugs because they’re so overdone. But one with some really fun sayings can still be a gift your photographer can appreciate.

4. WANDRD PRVKE

The WANDRD PRVKE backpacks may have an aversion to vowels. But the mom you know will likely love it, missing vowels or not. These are great bags. They’re also durable, well-made, attractive, and come in various colors and sizes. Buy one for yourself too. They’re great. I own the WANDRD HEXAD bag, which packs a lot while still fitting in overhead bins, and I love it. There’s also the smaller PRVKE LITE for those who don’t have to haul around as much gear.

5. Radiant Photo

Radiant Photo from Radiant Imaging Labs is a breathe of fresh air. When you open an image, Radiant Photo analyzes each image and suggests edits that it feels is best for each photo. Rather than applying presets, it attempts to bring out color, detail, and light in each photo. And with its update, it’s a lot faster. And sure, while it does a lot of things automatically, you’re still in charge. You can still tweak if you feel like the photo needs it. But you may not need to do much!

Other options

These are some ideas to get you going. You can also consider camera straps, rangefinder cameras, digital picture frames, lens filters, smartphones, software and more.

Mothers do a mind-boggling amount of things. They bring it every day.

And if she’s a single mother, she’s a superhero. Maybe get her something from this list, a fantastic dinner, a foot massage and a winning lottery ticket.
